Pint of Cider
A reissue of an antique design, the Cider Pint perpetuates a tradition widespread in Western France during the 18th and 19th centuries. Used in homes and inns alike, this glazed stoneware pitcher served cider or wine, depending on the local produce. Its simple curves made it an essential part of everyday tables.
Today, this ceramic cider pint retains all its heritage character. Its wide, open spout, combined with a comfortable grip, allows for effortless pouring of chilled drinks, wines, juices, or homemade preparations. Repurposed as a vase, it also holds bouquets and garden herbs, adding a natural touch to the kitchen or living room.
With a generous capacity of 2 litres, the Manfacture Cider Pint revives the tradition of large serving pieces and offers a strong presence on the table, ideal for convivial meals or for a deliberate decorative use.
Handcrafted and glazed in the workshops of the Digoin factory, each piece testifies to exceptional French craftsmanship: robust stoneware, deep color, meticulous decoration, and authentic original forms.
