This container for preserved products was used for condiments in Burgundy. Today many uses are possible with this fables object: for pickles prepared with cloves, ginger and turmeric; for Antipasti (dried tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, artichoke heart, etc.…) marinated in olive oil with aromatic herbs. A wide variety of fruits and vegetables (gherkins, onions, shallots, cauliflower and lemon for example) can be stored in this stoneware box. Perfect for soaking them in oil or vinegar. Featuring an excellent seal against light and humidity, it is also ideal for storing ingredients such as dry food stuffs and spices.
