Butter Dish, Octagonal Stoneware Dome

197,00€

A reissue of a rare piece found in the Manufacture's archives, this octagonal butter dish is one of the most unique creations from our workshops. Its geometric shape, bas-relief decoration, and finely sculpted cloche make it a remarkable object, inheriting expertise passed down through several generations.
Every detail, from the delicate relief on the top to the carefully crafted handle, requires a long and meticulous working time, revealing the complexity and demanding nature of this exceptional model.

Made from stoneware and fired at very high temperatures, it is fully vitrified and absorbs neither odor nor flavor. This quality makes it an ideal container for protecting and preserving food. Designed for daily use, while maintaining elegance and a sense of heritage, this piece can also cover cheese, a slice of cake, or a delicate dessert, preserving freshness and aromas. The octagonal tray can also be used alone, as a small serving dish or presentation stand.

Its identity lies in a subtle interplay of materials. The exterior, left matte, offers excellent grip and highlights the model's geometry, while the interior, enameled with a deep gloss, facilitates cleaning and emphasizes the finesse of the shapes. This combination of matte and glossy enamels is one of the Manufacture's signatures.

An exceptional piece entirely handmade, the butter dish is produced only to order to guarantee impeccable quality.
