Wild Boar Bestiary Terrine
Inspired by an old model preserved in the Manufacture's archives, the Wild Boar Terrine continues the tradition of stoneware terrines used since the Middle Ages for cooking and preserving meats. Its lid, sculpted with a wild boar, pays homage to game recipes and the dining arts of yesteryear.
Made of stoneware and fired at high temperature, the stoneware is fully vitrified and non-porous: the Terrine absorbs neither fats nor odors and guarantees even cooking. Robust and functional, it is suitable for both traditional everyday preparations and more festive recipes.
Beyond its culinary use, the Wild Boar terrine is also a decorative piece. Its iconic presence makes it an object of character, ideal placed on a worktop, a shelf or a festive table, even without any preparation inside.
Much more than a culinary object, the Burgundy Stoneware Bestiary Collection features objects of character, enhanced by a contrast of matte and glossy enamels.
